WHO IS CANB?
Since 2014, the Community Association of North Bushey (CanB), has helped to bring the North Bushey community together and raised hundreds of pounds for local charities.
Our annual event, The North Bushey Community Fair, has been running for the past six years. Unfortunately, like many other things, we had to cancel 2020 due to Covid-19 however if all restrictions lift in June 2021 as currently planned we fully intend to bring the community together again on Saturday 17th July.
Many wonderful volunteers from your local community worked tirelessly to bring it all together on the day. People delivered leaflets, collected tombola prizes, applied many many temporary tattoos, ran games and activities, supplied teas and coffees, baked cakes, set up and packed down, provided us with wonderful music and much much more...
We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of them for making the day so special, it really would not have happened without you.
The annual Community Fair costs in excess of £2000 to host, which has been paid for through our generous sponsors and the efforts of our fundraising team. If your business would like to be involved please get in touch at .
Each year we invite charities to apply to benefit from monies raised at the fair, our nominated charities for 2019 were the ''Herts Musical Memories'' and "Bushey Mill Resource Centre'' - two fantastic local charities who benefited from the proceeds of the raffle and the Tombola. Find out more here
